'For My Girls' is the story of Adanne Malizu the oldest of four children who assists her mother in selling food in order to raise money for school fees and house keeping.

Whilst battling her mother's animosity towards her, Adanne strikes up a relationship with Dimkpa, a mechanic who tries to convince her to accept a job as a maid in Lagos.

Adanne declines his offer until her autistic younger brother is killed in a motorbike accident and her mother blames her for his death. Under the pretext of heading to Lagos, Dimpka and his cohorts convey Adanne and other victims to the Ikenga Maternity Home, in the heart of the Ikenga forest which is run by an unknown woman.

Late one night, Adanne makes a break for it, closely pursued by Dimkpa and his cohorts but Adanne discovers an unlikely ally in the aged midwife. Will Adanne live to reunite with her family and reveal the true owner of the maternity home?
