Writing is an art form but it is also a mode of communication and can be as basic as ‘her dressing is over-the-top’ or as flowery as, ‘she had hitherto expressed herself through baroque attire and rococo headpieces.’

I have been a writer for most of the three decades I have spent on God’s earth and have employed writing as both an art and a tool. As an art, I have also touched several bases as an editorial writer, essayist, novelist, poet and now, a screenwriter. I have found that the knowledge of the basic art of storytelling which I acquired and honed over the years serves me in good stead and we will explore your knowledge of storytelling as we begin our first lesson.
